Cae Llwybr Caernarfon

Over the Christmas break we received complaints by residents in Cae Llwybr Caernarfon about the mess scattered on their street. It seems that the proposed fortnightly collections by the council will be met with some opposition this year as people struggle to cope with a break in collection services.

Burst bin bags and dirty nappies were scattered all over the street over Christmas as the collection services were effected.

Caernarfon Online would like to sympathise with the people concerned, but at the same time would like to point out that you can now take household waste to the recycling plant at Cibyn. We realise that this is not the perfect solution, but for those with transport, it may reduce the build up of waste at their homes.

This year, collections on Tuesday (Christmas Day) were cancelled but normal service was resumed on New Years day (the following Tuesday).
