“Have you got talent?”
That’s what CEG and the Caernarfon Football Supporters Club
want to know as part of Caernarfon Festival’s activities on the 23rd and 30th
of July 2008.
The competition is open to all local artists, and from
further a-field, who feel that they have an exceptional act or talent that they
want to share with people.
The preliminary rounds will take place at the Caernarfon
Football Supporters Club on the 23rd and 30th of July
2008 from 7.00pm onwards. From these rounds 5 acts from each night will go
forward to the finals which will be held at Cofi Roc on the evening of the 17th
of August as part of the celebratory day.
According to Rhys Mwyn the Chairman of CEG “for the ultimate winner this is an
opportunity to be part of the launch of the collaboration between the town and
the Faenol Festival and hopefully the beginnings of the Faenol Fringe Festival
itself.
I would urge you to
become part of this event it’s a great stage and opportunity for local talent
to get noticed and be fully involved in any future development.”
According to Glyn Dickinson the Chairman of the Caernarfon
Festival “this event shows the new will
and collaboration developing in Caernarfon between event organisers. This is a
great event and I am glad that the Caernarfon Festival are collaborators with
CEG and the Caernarfon Football Supports Club in offering a stage to local
talent at all levels”.
Walter Richards of the Caernarfon Football Supporters Club
said “we have been pioneers in developing
“Stars in their eyes” at our club over the years which have proved to be extremely
successful events. I am personally very pleased that we will be working with
CEG and the Caernarfon Festival to give more people a wider opportunity of
developing and showing their talent.”
