New Doctors Surgery

Rumors were rife that the new Doctors surgery at Doc Fictoria didn't have windows had us all "in stiitches" here at CaernarfonOnline.  We called in at the new health centre yesterday and were amazed at how quickly the rooms have come together since our last exclusive video a few weeks back.

The panorama below gives you a general idea of how good this place is and even makes you "feel better" once you enter.

HAFAN IECHYD, CAERNARFON ON BEHALF OF BRON SEIONT & MARKET STREET SURGERIES, NORTH WEST WALES NHS TRUST & GWYNEDD LOCAL HEALTH BOARD

Hafan Iechyd Caernarfon will open on Wednesday 17^th December.

Both GP practices in Caernarfon will be based at Hafan Iechyd, Fictoria Doc.

Hafan Iechyd Caernarfon is situated on the first floor of the block which currently houses Yr Harbwr and FU’s restaurant. The entrance is located on the side facing the Celtica shop. There is a lift and stair access to the first floor, with a telephone situated in the ground floor foyer with direct link to reception for anyone who requires assistance.

The reception area, waiting area and waiting rooms will be shared but Bron Seiont and Market Street will still be working as separate practices.

There are automated patient check in systems situated in the waiting area (one for each practice) as well as a patient call system to call patients through to the Doctor or Nurse.

The Trust accommodates services which are currently offered at Bron Hendre Clinic, South Road.  Service available at Hafan Iechyd will be Family Planning, Community Paediatrics, Ante Natal clinic, Health Visitor services, Podiatry, Speech and Language Therapy, and Substance misuse.  The District Nurses, Midwifes and Health Visitors will also have their administration offices and can also be contacted on the same telephone number.  The Trust have their own waiting area for clinics located within their area.
