Exclusive first ever look at our New Medical Centre

Update! by Bron Seiont Surgery

Both Bron Seiont and Market Street surgeries will be opening at the Hafan Iechyd Caernarfon on Wednesday 17th December. Bron Seiont will be open on the 15th and 16th December at the current site, but will have emergency surgeries only as the computers and medical records will have been moved to the new site at Doc Fictoria.

Both Surgeries will operate from the same NEW NUMBER.

Please note it in your diaries: 01286 684 100

Callers will be requested as to which surgery they require.

At the bottom of this page is a message from Bron Seiont surgery and the time table for the bus service.

Caernarfon Online arranged for an exclusive first ever showing of the New Medical Centre at Doc Fictoria. The keys for the site are scheduled to be handed over on the third week in November 2008 and it will then be up to the Doctors when they will be up and running. The Doctors will be responsible for moving their equipment and files to the new premises as well as setting up their IT etc.

We have included a video which shows how work is progressing and will give you all an insight of how the new state of the art building will look. The site has 6 disabled bays available in total which are all only a few steps from the centre. Disabled access is evident throughout the building with a lift conveniently placed next to the arrival desk.

Play areas for children are also added with brethtaking views from most of the surgeries. Public transport will be run by Silver Star services and have been running regularly every half hour since June 1st. (Originally started as an hourly service back in March and was improved in June.)

We hope by providing you with an insight to what Caernarfon now has to offer will make you sit back and wonder why a certain sector in town continuously attacks developments of this type.

One or two councillors have been very negative towards the centre and Doc in general and must now wake up and realise that their duties are to work for the community instead of against it and developing their own personal agendas. A complaint from a single councillor should be made on behalf of his or her constituents, and NOT for his or hers own publicity! Councillors should keep their own personal feelings to themselves and do what the majority of their constituents want.

The amount of complaints we receive about certain councillors is alarming and many have expressed their concerns about the people they have representing them.

Doc Fictoria is here and it's here to stay, once these blinkered (sic) councillors accept this the sooner Caernarfon can move on.
