A first for Wales, Caernarfon and Gweledigaeth Productions

Gweledigaeth Productions have been working closely with Caernarfon Online over the few months supplying news items and reports of local interest for our readers. The video's produced have been highly acclaimed from all quarters and have proved a massive hit with our visitors..

Gweledigaeth Productions are currently involved in many projects and have teamed up with Caernarfon Online editor Gareth Edwards to produce the first of its kind Karate Video. The first of a series of videos is yet unnamed, but will be focusing on Power Punching. An art form which can produce incredible power by the human body is hard to fathom by the untrined and on this first video many of the secrets are explained. It is expected that the video will be on general sale nationwide by the end of the year and available not only in HD format but also in a multi language format.

Gareth Edwards 5th Dan in the art of Shukokai Karate and the highest graded Shukokai Instructor in Wales told us. "I believe this is the first video of it's kind which will be available in at least three different languages! More importantly it will be the first of it's kind to incorporate the Welsh language in its medium." He went on to tell us, "We have thought about this for a long time and years ago talked with a local company about producing something similar. But at the time nothing materialised and we are now looking forward to completing the filming of the video very soon."

Owain Llyr of Gweledigaeth told us "I am very pleased with how the filming is going up to now and hopefully we will have enough material following one or two more sessions. Our aim is to make the DVD available to an international market and if successful. similar discs will be made available on other topics. I have been very impressed with what I have seen so far and now we are nearing the stage where we can put it all together. I am very excited about the possibilities of this project".

We would like to point out that these shorts were taken by one of the students present and is NOT the HD version taken by Gweledigaeth.
