More than 360 local school children were treated to a fantastic Dr Who show at K2 yesterday. No one thought about the connection between K2 and K9 as Doctor Who's best friend failed to materialize! Nevertheless, the show went down a treat with local kids as they watched their favourite monsters take the stage on the dance floor at K2.
Ioan Thomas had arranged for COL to be there to cover the event and we were treated to scary moments as the Scarecrow, Cyberman and Dalek terrorised us into submission!
Earlier in the day General Manager Gilly Harredence failed to persuade Ioan to wear a colourful scarf for the photo above but he took it all in good spirits as kids from year 5 and 6 from schools in Caernarfon had fun interacting online. They were also treated to a sneak preview of the Easter episode of Dr Who.
Evening
Caernarfon Online and Gweledigaeth had been promised a video interview with former producer Russell T Davies in the evening, but he (like K9) failed to materialize due to work commitments, this proved to be very unpopular with the disappointed crowd at Galeri.
