Rhodri Morgan Officially Opens Doc Fictoria

The long awaited official oepning of Doc Fictoria was made on May Day with the First Minister Rhodri Morgan cutting the tape. Mr Morgan was introduced tot he audience by Mark Watkin Jones who is a Director of Watkin Jones Development.

 

The First Minsiter arrived on time to a heavy downpour of rain therefore proceedings were conducted inside the new complex. Before the official opening, Mark Watkin Jones took Mr Morgan around one of the luxury appartments before the official launch.

The Doc is a fantastic coplex which consits of lurxury apparments, quality shopping and fine dining, as well as home to Caernarfon doctors surgery, nursery centre and TV offices.

Mark opened the ceremony with a big thank you to all the people who made the project reality. He singled out both Gwynedd and Caernarfon Town Council for playing their role in ensuring the development went ahead.

Rhodri Morgan said he welcomed such a magnificent development in Caernarfon, he pointed out that the Doc was not "out of town" as some people suggested and in reality it was only half a mile from the centre of town itself.

He explained how it complemented the town's World Heritage status and how the Doc would attract more tourism and business into the town thus helping existing businesses.
