All for Charity!
Just check out our video above, (we apologise that the quality). This video gives an incredible insight into Nickeila's recent sky dive in aid of Cancer Relief.
We caught up with Nick this week at her home in Maesincla and were amazed at what lengths some people will go to for their chose charity. Nickeila collected near £600 for her cause and we must admit, it was worth every penny. Here's what Nickeila had to say.
Caernarfon Online "When did you do the jump?"
Nickeila "The jump took place on Halloween (October 31st) and to be honest there has never been a ore scary Halloween for me."
COL: "Where did you do it?"
Nickeila: " I did it in Whitchurch and it was all arranged by collecting money for charity. People were so kind when they realised what I had to do for the task."
COL: "Why did you do it?"
Sky Diving is something I've always wanted to do for some reason and when I read an advert in the paper asking people to jump for charity, I thought, this is my chance and because I personally know of someone who had died of cancer, my decision was made."
COL: "How much did you raise for cancer relief?"
Nickeila: "The final total will be around £600 and as I work for WH Smiths, I have applied for match funding up to a total of £500 which will hopefully nearly double my efforts. Also many of my sponsors have ticked the tax exempt box with will add even more to the total.
COL: "The question now is would you do it again?"
Nickeila, I flipping loved it Gareth and if I could do it again tomorrow I would, I can really recommend it to anyone, it was thrilling!"
