Two more businesses in town to close.

Caernarfon Online have been informed that two more businesses in town are to close this year.

The first is on Pool Street, health food specialists 'Julian Graves' is set to close shortly after a brief time on Caernarfon's main street.

The second is 'The Halifax' on the Maes in the centre of town. Halifax have already informed its customers that the premises will cease trading in Caernarfon on the 20th October this year. Both outlets in Caernarfon are major chain establishments who have decided that their local branches are no longer required in this part of the country.

Despite this mobile phone shop 'Orange' has recently set up business in town and opened its doors last month in place of a Chinese herb shop which closed down recently. Locals are not sure how lucrative this branch will be due to the fact 'Phones 4 U' is just opposite.

Things are not looking too good at present for the business sector of town following the closures of many businesses over the last eighteen months. These include Caernarfon Pine, Ty Bach Twt, Adfer Flooring , Ethel Austin, Woolworth, A.T.S., Prince of Wales Hotel, Soled Out, 14th Peak and the Chinese Health Shop, to name but a few.

Added to this the Celtic Royal Hotel has also talked about closing two months a year in 2012.
