Work can now start on Hendre School
A meeting of the Arfon Area Planning committee was held tonight and full planning permission was granted for work to commence on the new Hendre School in Caernarfon.
The Hedre Board of Governors Chairman and Gwynedd Councillor Roy Owen told Caernarfon Online
"I am delighted that this project can now go ahead and I look forward to seeing the first brick being laid. This has been a most thrilling adventure which took its toll on all of us. I can't express my delight enough at finally seeing all the hard work coming to fruition."
The new school will take about two years to complete and will be situated at Cae Top in Caernarfon.
Work on an access road has already been started and soon Caernarfon will have a "State of the Art" school providing the very best in education facilities for around 400 students.
Caernarfon Online was first to report the news that Hendre was to have a new school and are once again first to announce that planning permission has now been accepted.
