Caernarfon Castle held it's Cipio'r Castell event and it proved to be an amazing success. An estimated crowd of over 1,500 filled the castle and were treated to a theatrical show of music and puppetry.
The show told the story of Owain Glyn Dwr and his efforts of overcoming the castle on the 16th September 1400. The day proved to be a special treat to those happening to visit the castle on Sunday. Locals were given the chance to see the show for free so long as they reserved their wrist bands before hand.
Castle custodian Tristian Jones told Caernarfon Online that he was very pleased with how the day went and added he would be happy when it was all over as a lot of hard work had been made behind the scenes over the last few weeks. Caernarfon agreed that it was obvious that a lot of planning had been made and thanks must go to all the organisers.
We have compiled two video's for your viewing pleasure, which shows the two sides of the free entertainment, a choir and a beat box rendition. Check them out, both were first class.
