Tan y Ddraig is always very popular with the youth of Caernarfon, and this year was no exception.
The line up promised us Brigyn, Frizbee, Yr Hwntws, Rebecca Trehearn, Meinir Gwilym, The Saw Doctors, and Meic Stevens.
Rebecca Trehearn from Rhyl was this year's 'Wow Ffactor' winner who had to pass the judging of BB Aled. She performed very well on her first visit to the Faynol ending with a Welsh version of 'Draw Dros Yr Enfys'.
Meinir who presents on Radio Cymru sang popular songs such as 'Dim Byd a Nynlle', 'Gafael yn Dyn' and 'Wyt Ti'n Mynd i Adael?' She went down very well with the crowd behind her all the way.
The Saw Doctors (from Ireland) took the Faenol by storm and sang their hits including 'On Clare Island' off their new album, and all time favourite 'Tommy K' had everybody singing 'Lets call out his name, Tommy k tommy k, Tommy k the d.j., Tommy k tommy k''.
A native of Solva in Pembrokeshire, West Wales, Meic Stevens has
been an integral part of the Welsh music scene since the beginning of the
He is as popular as ever and headlined the show with the crowd's obvious approval.
Tan y Ddraig 6 was an excellent way of ending a spectacular Festival, and we look forward to see what Bryn has in store for us next year.
