Support Act Matt Dusk from Canada

Matt Dusk warmed up the audience in the pouring rain and helped by Steve McDonald on Sax his act was certainly a crowd pleaser. He sang hits from My Fair Lady (On the Street Where You Live and Get me to the Church on time), a tribute to his favourite star Frank Sinatra and his hit single 'The Best is Yet To Come'.

Shirley Bassey

Shirley Bassey, the girl from Tiger Bay came to wow the fans at the Faenol and had them rocking in the aisles from the firs dramatic notes of 'Goldfinger' to the last notes of 'Keep a Welcome in the Hillside'.

Shirley seems to have always been around and with her catalogue of hits over the years her show was dramatic from start to finish. Shirley certainly liked the Beatles and had the crowd singing along to 'Hey Jude' as she threw roses to the audience.

Show stoppers like 'Hey Big Spender' and 'I Am What I Am' all made it a night to remember. Shirley was professional throughout her performance and her sequined yellow costume was stunning.

She was joined onstage by Bryn Terfel which met with a roar of approval by the audience. They sang We'll Keep a Welcome in The Hillside and left with a dramatic fireworks display. The Weather? Who cares she was fabulous!
